Aswathama 2021 Better «Validated · 2025»
The film’s critique of police corruption and judicial delays is valid but not particularly fresh. The dialogues about “aawara kanneeru” (useless tears) and “law protecting the guilty” become repetitive.
The supporting cast, including as the female lead, does a decent job, though the romantic track feels a bit like a distraction from the gritty main plot. However, the scene-stealer is arguably Jisshu Sengupta (in a role that adds star power) and the antagonist, whose portrayal is chillingly effective without resorting to over-the-top theatrics. aswathama 2021
