After the recent software update, my phone has started aggressively blocking contacts that are saved in my phonebook. These are not spam numbers. It turns out that Samsung's default setting blocks

Swipe down from the top of the screen twice to open Quick Settings. Look for the Do Not Disturb icon (crescent moon). If it's blue, tap it to turn it off. To set exceptions: Settings → Notifications → Do Not Disturb → Calls → allow calls from "Contacts only" or "Starred contacts."
