Deactivating Call Barring ◎
If you're having trouble deactivating call barring, try:
You’re expecting an important call. You know it’s coming. But when you try to make a quick call to check in, your phone abruptly interrupts with a cold, robotic message: deactivating call barring
: Look for Call Barring (if your carrier supports in-device management). Disable Features : Toggle the active restrictions to Off . If you're having trouble deactivating call barring, try:
On most devices (like Samsung), tap > Call Barring . On Google Pixel or Stock Android, tap Calls > Call Barring . Select Call Type : Choose between Voice call or Video call . Disable Features : Toggle the active restrictions to Off
If the codes return an error ("Network Error" or "Invalid Password") and the settings menus are greyed out, the issue isn't your phone—it’s your network provider.
Open your dial pad (as if you are going to make a call) and type the following code, then press the call button:
