The name "Kokoshkafilm" is a pun. Kokoshka is a surname, but it sounds close to kokoshnik (the traditional Russian headdress) and koshka (cat). Fittingly, the studio’s mascot was a skeletal cat with human eyes. She doesn't run; she walks toward the camera,
