Cs.rin.ru Forum Rules §6 Today
Based on the official rules of the cs.rin.ru forum, here is the guide to §6 (General Conduct and Spamming) . Please note that forum rules can be updated. This guide reflects the standard interpretation of Rule §6, which focuses on maintaining high-quality discussion and preventing spam. §6. Spam and Low-Quality Posts The core purpose of this rule is to keep the forum clean, readable, and informative. The administration defines "spam" broadly—it includes not only obvious advertisements but also pointless, off-topic, or low-effort posts. 1. Definition of Spam Spam is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
Off-topic posts: Posting content that has nothing to do with the thread subject. Meaningless posts: Posts that contain no useful information (e.g., "lol," "ok," "cool"). Advertisements: Promoting other websites, products, or services without permission.
2. "Thank You" Posts One of the most strictly enforced aspects of §6 is the prohibition of "empty" gratitude.
Do NOT post comments that consist solely of "Thanks," "Thank you," or smiley faces. Why? These posts clutter the thread and make it hard to find actual technical support or game updates. The Solution: Use the built-in "Thanks" button (the thumbs-up icon usually located at the top-right of a post) to thank a user. This gives them reputation without cluttering the thread. Exception: You may post a written thank you only if you are also adding useful information, asking a relevant question, or providing feedback in the same post. cs.rin.ru forum rules §6
3. Bumping
Do not post in old threads ("necro-bumping") unless you have something significant to add (e.g., a new fix, an updated link, or a solution to a previously unanswered question). Bumping a thread just to keep it visible is generally discouraged.
4. Double Posting
Avoid posting two or more times in a row in the same thread within a short period. If you forgot to add something to your previous message, use the Edit button to modify your existing post rather than creating a new one.
5. Excessive Use of Formatting/Caps
DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS. It is interpreted as shouting. Do not abuse bold, italic, large fonts, or bright colors unnecessarily. Use formatting only to highlight important parts of your message (like error codes or headings). Based on the official rules of the cs
6. Referral Links
Posting referral links (links that earn you money or points when clicked) is strictly forbidden. All links must be clean and direct to the content.
