Georgie joins Mary’s Bible study group, not because of a religious awakening, but to spend time with his crush, Veronica Duncan. He even goes as far as getting baptized alongside her. However, his plan backfires when he tries to kiss her afterward; Veronica punches him, and Mary grounds both boys for their respective behaviors.

: After watching the 1972 film Conquest of the Planet of the Apes , Sheldon becomes fascinated with the idea of creating a superior race, which he calls " Homo Novus " (New Man). He decides to use his twin sister, Missy , as his primary test subject, attempting to teach her calculus using Socratic questioning and operant conditioning. The experiment takes a turn when Sheldon threatens Missy's Cabbage Patch doll to force her to learn, leading her to eventually punch him.
