– Target pressure at top floor: 40 psi. Add friction (28 psi), add elevation (32.5 psi), subtract incoming city pressure (45 psi at basement). Total dynamic head: 55.5 psi → converted to feet of head (128 ft). Diameter ($D$) in inches
