On Windows, a shortcut is just a pointer to a file. Deleting it will uninstall the program.
But then I realized that I had also created shortcuts in other places, like my taskbar and Start menu. I needed to delete those too. To do this, I right-clicked on the taskbar and selected "Taskbar settings." From there, I was able to remove the shortcuts I no longer needed.
