Window Sill Repair Concrete 〈Pro × SERIES〉
Narrow surface fractures often caused by weathering.
Identifying the type of deterioration is the first step in determining the necessary repair method: window sill repair concrete
Concrete window sills serve a critical dual function: directing water away from the building envelope and supporting the structural load of the fenestration system. Due to prolonged exposure to freeze-thaw cycles, carbonation, and deicing salts, these components frequently exhibit spalling, cracking, and reinforcement corrosion. This paper presents a systematic, evidence-based methodology for the repair of deteriorated concrete window sills. It argues that superficial patching is insufficient; a successful repair requires substrate preparation, corrosion inhibition, the use of polymer-modified repair mortars, and proper curing. The proposed protocol extends service life by 10–15 years, offering a cost-effective alternative to full sill replacement. Narrow surface fractures often caused by weathering
