One of the most common headaches in RDS administration is when a Session Host cannot find the License Server. While the RD Licensing Manager allows you to configure the server, it does not effectively troubleshoot connectivity from the Session Host's perspective. Administrators often have to resort to Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) or Registry edits (using lsdiag.msc or regedit ) to force the pairing, as the manager itself offers limited cross-server management capabilities.
