HBO’s fantasy drama Game of Thrones (2011–2019) is notable not only for its cultural impact but also for its variable seasonal episode count. Unlike traditional network television that adheres to a fixed 22–24 episode order, Game of Thrones employed a declining episode model as the series progressed. This paper provides a verified count of episodes per season, visualizes the trend, and discusses production-related reasons for the decline from 10 to 6 episodes in its final seasons.
