ERDAS IMAGINE is a leading software suite for remote sensing image processing, photogrammetry, and geospatial analysis. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of its core modules—ranging from data preprocessing (radiometric/geometric correction) to advanced spectral analysis (hyperspectral and LiDAR fusion). A case study on land use/land cover (LULC) change detection using multi-temporal Landsat data is presented. Results demonstrate the software’s robust capability for supervised classification (Gaussian Maximum Likelihood) and accuracy assessment using Kappa statistics.
