If the Odin3 port is crashing on your distro, I highly recommend using the native GUI. It comes installed with the package we added in Step 1. You can launch it from your application menu or by typing heimdall-frontend in the terminal. It does the exact same job but is often more stable on Linux. odin3 for linux
