On the other hand, I am excited at the prospect of having Rissa as a constant presence in my life. I imagine us cooking dinner together, watching movies, and exploring the city as a team. I envision us having deep conversations, sharing our thoughts and feelings, and supporting each other through life's ups and downs. I picture us laughing together, often and loudly, and creating new memories that will last a lifetime.

"I mean," Elias said, choosing his words carefully, "Rissa may stay with me at home. Not just until the rain stops. Not just for the weekend." He gestured vaguely around the room, at the clutter of books, the warm lamp light, the mugs of tea sitting on the coasters. "It’s better when you're here. The place makes more sense."
