Before you sign up for a random Zoom course or pay $2,000 for a “certification,” let’s break down where to find legitimate free training, what red flags to avoid, and how to turn that free knowledge into a paying client.
Because there is no official license, many "schools" have popped up charging $1,000–$3,000 for a 4-week course. While some are excellent, many are simply repackaging free information you can find on YouTube.
Legitimate free training exists, but it usually comes in two forms:
"I am learning dispatching. I will work for you for 15 hours a week for 14 days for free. I will only handle your rate confirmations and tracking. If you like me, we can discuss 5% of revenue."
Free truck dispatcher training is available through various digital platforms, ranging from comprehensive video series to interactive microlearning modules. While some providers offer introductory "free modules" to lead into paid certifications, others provide full curricula at no cost.
