Windows Server 2008 - Activate

I looked at the watermark. The clock in the system tray was stuck at 3:14 AM. This server was caught in a loop, a digital purgatory. It couldn't call home to Microsoft because the servers for this activation protocol had long since been sunsetted. It couldn't phone out because the PBX lines were cut.
