While the software manages profiles, it is designed to work seamlessly with X-Rite’s calibration hardware (puck-style colorimeters). If you own an X-Rite i1Display or i1Pro device, the Color Assistant can launch the calibration process directly. It then stores the resulting custom profile in its menu for easy switching.
