This is the entry-level version of FL Studio. It is significantly cheaper than the Producer or Signature editions. While it has limitations (such as a lack of audio recording for clips), it allows you to learn the interface, use the playlist, and use internal generators. You can open projects made in Fruity Edition in the Producer Edition later if you upgrade.
