The term refers to production keys used with the suyu emulator – an open-source Nintendo Switch emulator. “Prod keys” (short for production keys ) are cryptographic keys derived from a legitimate Nintendo Switch console. They are required to decrypt game files (ROMs, updates, DLCs) for emulation.
