When it comes to deleting data on a traditional Hard Disk Drive (HDD), a simple "format" often isn't enough. With NVMe Solid State Drives (SSDs), the situation is even more complex. Unlike a standard delete (which simply marks data as "available space") or a standard format (which creates a new file system), a Secure Erase command goes deeper.
