Nvme Secure: Erase

There are three main ways to execute this command.

When it comes to deleting data on a traditional Hard Disk Drive (HDD), a simple "format" often isn't enough. With NVMe Solid State Drives (SSDs), the situation is even more complex. Due to the way SSDs manage data, simply dragging files to the trash or formatting the drive can leave recoverable traces behind. nvme secure erase

Unlike a standard delete (which simply marks data as "available space") or a standard format (which creates a new file system), a Secure Erase command goes deeper. It signals the SSD controller to reset all storage blocks, effectively wiping the slate clean. There are three main ways to execute this command
