Among the most enduring genres within this space is the baseball video game. Unlike high-fidelity console counterparts such as MLB The Show , unblocked baseball games prioritize accessibility and low-latency performance over graphical fidelity. This paper posits that unblocked baseball games represent a unique intersection of technical workaround and cultural nostalgia, preserving the arcade sports genre in an environment where it would otherwise be obsolete.
