Phonak Target is a software tool used for hearing aid fitting and programming. The software allows audiologists to fine-tune hearing aid settings to meet the specific needs of individuals with hearing loss. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Phonak Target in improving speech recognition and user satisfaction in individuals with hearing loss. We recruited 30 participants with hearing loss and fitted them with Phonak hearing aids using the Phonak Target software. Speech recognition tests were conducted in quiet and noisy environments before and after the fitting. Additionally, participants completed a satisfaction survey to assess their perceived benefit and satisfaction with the hearing aids. Our results showed significant improvements in speech recognition in both quiet and noisy environments after the Phonak Target fitting. Furthermore, participants reported high levels of satisfaction with the hearing aids, citing improved communication and reduced listening effort.
