If updating doesn't work, right-click the camera in Device Manager and select Uninstall device . Do not worry—this does not delete your photos. It simply removes the software driver. Once uninstalled, restart your laptop. Upon reboot, Windows will automatically detect the "new" hardware and install a fresh driver.
