We go from her being an antagonist to "Leader of the Lion Guard" in a 22-minute span. While her quick thinking (using a strategy to trap the invading army rather than brute force) proves her worth, we never get an episode of transition . How did Simba forgive her? How did she earn the trust of the herds? A mini-arc would have solidified her as a top-tier leader.

Where Kion’s leadership was defined by a strict moral code ("Roar of the Elders") and diplomatic patience, Vitani’s leadership is defined by grit, strategy, and efficiency .
