The story follows a young girl named Midori. After losing her mother, she is orphaned and unknowingly wanders into the care of a traveling freak show. What follows is a descent into hell. Midori is subjected to horrific abuse by the troupe members—individuals who are outcasts of society, twisted both in body and spirit.
