The is the perfect tool for creating localized search boxes that only return results from a specific set of parent and child pages. 🔍 What is the Page Tree Search Macro? the Livesearch macro

If your team has been using Confluence for a while, you know the "Space" can become a bit of a junk drawer. You have meeting notes from 2019 mixed in with current project specs, and parent pages housing hundreds of child pages.

If the sidebar search isn't cutting it, you can use Confluence's Advanced Search (powered by CQL - Confluence Query Language) to restrict results to a specific page and its children. This is the most powerful way to search a page tree.

Confluence allows you to add labels to pages. If you add a specific label (e.g., handbook-v2 ) to every page in a specific tree, you can use the Advanced Search to filter by that label, effectively creating a "virtual" page tree search regardless of where the pages actually live.
