The show follows , a hyperactive princess from the dimension of Mewni. On her 14th birthday, she receives a magical wand but proves too chaotic to control it. Her parents send her to Earth as a "foreign exchange student," where she befriends Marco Diaz . Together, they fight monsters, navigate high school, and eventually uncover the dark history of Mewni.
